Cookouts and day off of work are fun, but please remember the reason for it. This memorial day my family and I are going to a few small graveyard to put flowers on those graves of people who have served our country. Please thank those around you who are still here or who have passed on in a way you see fitting.

I agree .. I went to my grandpa's grave site to water his flowers and check on his flag flying and realized that almost 3/4 of the cemetery he is in has flags flying for the veterans buried there .. it really does bring a tear to the eye when you think of all the people who served this country for us ..
