A friend of mine is looking for a cake decorator that does 3D cakes and I would like to give her some suggestions. I know their is a lot of talented cake decorators on this website and could not think of a better way get hold of one.

You should post in the cake decorating forum or in the general forum, I bet you will get some responses there. A lot more people read those sections than the lounge.
