I just thought I was so smart making frosting in bulk for the first time. I was on my first batch of decorators frosting. 3c crisco, water, milk, powdered sugar. I went to add 3 tablespoons of meringue powder and added baking powder instead. I really do taste the difference. It has a bad bitter after taste. Should I waste ohter things and try to fix. OR throw away. does anyone know what to do.

Lesson of the day. Do not try to make frosting while your 1 an 2 year old distract you.

I think you're gonna have to pitch it. If you had a LOT to make that you could add it to maybe... but then again do you wanna run the risk of alll that still tasting bad? Sometimes its just better to cut your losses icon_smile.gif
