Hey all, could use a little help. I'm looking for a doctored mix for a white chocolate cake using real white chocolate. I have nothing against the pudding, and don't mind if it is in the recipe as well, but really would love one with real white chocolate.

I've gone through the recipe section and added the Awesome White Chocolate Cake w/ Strawberry Preserves, and the Raspberry White Chocolate Cake to my recipe box, but wasn't sure on how those would turn out since the chocolate isn't melted before being mixed into the batter.

Please help! icon_biggrin.gif

There is one called White Chocolate Love Cake in the Cake Mix Doctor. Very good, and the choc is melted first before putting it into the batter.

This is my recipe:

1 box Betty Crocker White Cake Mix
1 small box Jello Brand White Chocolate Instant Pudding
1 1/4 cups milk
1/2 cup canola oil
4 eggs
6 oz melted white chocolate

I've adapted this to make a milk chocolate cake too. Yum!

I do a white choc. white cake with just a white cake mix, prepare as usual and then finely grate 5 oz. of white choc. and throw it in the mix right before baking. Doesn't need to be melted or anything! Super easy and YUMMY!!

I adapted the White Chocolate Raspberry Cake from the recipe section on this site. I just use vanilla instead of the raspberry extract.
http://www.cakecentral.com/cake_recipe-2242-Raspberry-White-Chocolate-Cake.html

1 box white cake mix (I use DH)
6 oz. white baking chocolate
1/2 c. butter
1 c. milk 3 eggs
1 Tbl. vanilla extract

This is very moist and all my family and friends love it, better than when I just used the pudding mix.

Hope that is helpful!

Laura

I know you asked for a Dr'ed mix......... but there is an awesome White Chocolate Whisper cake from the Cake Bible that is incredibly delicious, and easy to make.... You use a high quality white chocolate in this recipe, and I highly recommend it.. icon_biggrin.gif http://www.abondanteliving.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=130&Itemid=58
