How Do I Make These Eyes And Nose?

I'm making this elmo cake using the wilton 3d bear pan, but Im not sure how to make the eyes and nose. I think solid balls of fondant will be too heavy to stay anchored in place
help please!

rkt covered in fondant...

but I think fondant would have the best effect icon_smile.gif

I have made two of these Elmo cakes. I used fondant and pushed a wooden skewer into each piece and then into the cake. Had no problems staying on even with travel.

But I really think you will be ok using fondant like strazle has said icon_smile.gif
