Just wondering if anyone can tell me how much cake batter for an 8" square pan and a 5" square pan?

Thank you

Well an 8"x2" sq uses one cake mix; the 5 sq probably will need 1/2.
I'd make 2 and overfill the pans some, then make a few cupcakes.
