Nothing like waiting 'till the last minute, but a neighbor would like a cake for her grandson's 3rd birthday this weekend, and the theme is "dress-up" (he likes to play dress-up, I guess.)...It's only a small cake to feed about 15, and I really don't want to spend a ton of time and effort on it since I have two other paid cakes on the same day -- any clever, witty ideas out there to go with this theme?

Thanks so much!

dress up for a boy is weird to me but whatever!
How about a boy with his dad's clothes on...a big jacket,tie,shoes,hat,etc.... gumpaste maybe. Too strange for me.

maybe a variation of the baby shower clothesline theme would be good. instead of the clothes hanging on a clothesline, they could be hanging from hangers. try searching for clothes or clothesline in the gallery.

how about a plain round cake with a policemans hat, firemans hat, Dr's stethoscope, superman t-shirt a number 3, his name, or the same spilling out of a toy box
