I am making a loop bow cake topper and the client wants some of them to be zebra striped, how do i do this to i make the loop and then paint it? or can i paint it while it is still flat? What is your best experience on what ot paint with i have heard that food coloring mixed with vodka or extract will work on fondant? Thanks for all of your help.

From the tutorial on this website about how to make a looped bow, I believe the instructions are to paint the bow loops while they are still flat - beofre you make the loops out of them.
