Where Do You Get Edible Gold And Silver Paint?

I have been trying to get the shiny gold and silver looking paint I see people use on some of the decorating challenges I watch on tv and so far everything I have tried hasn't looked the same. I have bought shimmer dust, pearl dust and mixed it with vodka and painted it on, and also a gold glaze and nothing looks like what they are using. Help! I haven't had the opportunity to take classes I am pretty much self taught so I haven't learned all the tricks yet. Anyone have any suggestions?
if you go to www.countrykitchensweetart.com they have gold, silver, bronze, and pearl sprays it's under the food coloring tab in the cake decorating section. i have the pearl and it works great! enjoy!!

This is what I use to paint things gold and silver. Works much better than dusts and vodka if you ask me.
Heh, I just posted something similar. Does this give a super shiny real look? I was thinking of doing my normal color and then painting a layer of piping gel over it to give it a truly shiny color but wasn't sure if it would work. I'm definitely going to try it though.

try: http://www.lindyscakes.co.uk/shop/Metallic-Food-Paint/ and they ship across the world.
