Wasn't there a recipe floating around on here for this? It was like 1 box of cherry chip cake mix, 1/2 can of cherry frosting and 4 eggs, oil and water...

Or am I making things up

I don't think I've seen the recipe you are talking about, but I did see a recipe for adding ButterPecan frosting to a BP cake mix.

I don't have BP icing here, so I couldn't try it, but I did add Chocolate frosting to a regular bow mix.... icon_biggrin.gif Very good!!! The pan does need to be greased really well for this, but it is moist and flavorful! I have going to try a white mix with cream cheese frosting next..... icon_rolleyes.gif

Good luck in your search, I would like to have a cherry cake, so keep us updated. Happy Baking!! icon_smile.gif
