Actually do you make it or buy it I have been dying to learn to make a gumpaste bow but have no clue where to start. I only have minimal experice with fondant but none at all with gumpaste. Thanks so much and help is appreciated. I need to make a bow for the minnie cake I want to do for my DD's b-day cake.

Definately make it using Nic Lodge's recipe. Simple, easy; workes good

Hi sue, you also can add tylose/cmc powder to fondant, or you can combine 50/50 fondant and gumpaste. Never made it from scratch.
