I need a full sheet cake board and box for a cake this coming weekend. I think I waited too long for online places unless I want to pay an arm and a leg for shipping. Do you know of any stores that would have them that big or do any of you have any that could help me and send them out right away?

I know I can buy them from my grocery store bakery...

Publix's if you have one or Walmart or Sam's.

Sams Club sells them but by the case. They sell both boxes and boards. You might just ask the bakery manager if they'll sell you one and explain that you are a baker. He or she may just give it to you. That happened to me once. I wanted to buy it, but they just gave it to me.

Also, try a larger local bakery, or a supply place. My local AC Moore and Jo Ann Fabrics store sells cake boards and boxes, including the larger sized ones. Check them out.
