I was wondering which books are the most resourceful and most bought books to buy. DH wants to buy me some baking books for Mother's Day and I just don't know which to pick. I hear a lot about the Cake Bible. If you had the choice, which book and from where would you buy it? Hope this makes sense.
Thanks!

With my wonderful little stimulus check, I bought "The Cake Mix Doctor" (I'm a mix baker), "Martha Stewart's WEdding Cakes", Elisa Strauss's "Confetti Cakes" and this other one that I can't remember the title, but has patterns to help make fondant figures.

Now, I picked those because I will be using them as inspirations/idea books.

You could get a couple of baking/recipe one and then one or two decorating ones.

The Cake Bible is wonderful - tons of recipes for cakes, fillings, fondant, and buttercream. Also - if you're a chocoholic - Bittersweet by Alice Medrich.
