Decorating By conchita Updated 6 May 2008 , 3:56am by Texas_Rose
when I am done with the fondant and the cake is cover there is always powder sugar left on the fondant. what is the best way to get it out?
thanks
a light rub down with shortening will get rid of it, and in about 1-2 hours the shortening will all absorb in.
I'd suggest saving yourself the time and effort all together and not using powdered sugar or cornstarch at all. If you roll on vinyl or silicone with a bit of crisco, you don't need PS or CS and you won't have to clean of anything.

That's true, and you don't have to flip the fondant either while rolling it
