I have my first wedding cupcake tower coming up at the beginning of July, and I have ordered a Cupcake Tree stand for the display. It was the cheapest thing I could find, and although it is cardboard, I'd like to make it more attractive AND re-usable for other events.

The website I ordered from suggests you can paint it, but what paint is safe to use?

I would appreciate any suggestions from those of you who have worked with cupcake trees before. Thanks!

I know that the Deltacoat acrylic paints are non-toxic. That's probably what I would choose.
