I am not the best with these things but i will try and explain what I need help with. It is a cannon printer PIXMA iP4300. The computer keeps saying black ink low but my sister has refilled it. She has mention that the counter is finished and the chip needs resetting. So what I want to know is how to reset the counter. I could not do a edible print today because of it. It will probably take me a couple months before I will be able to get new ink with chip .

Any help is appreciated.
Thanks CC's

Try this -
Control Panel
Printers and faxes
right click on the printer and select properties
click on the maintenance tab
Click on the ink counter reset

Hope that works for you.

this is not the last of your problems with canon.
i've had two and they both died on me after the warranty expired.
i have an epson now and i love it. it's been two years and not one problem.
i also have an epson that i use for regular printing and never had a problem with it. i've had it since 2001.
don't know why i went with a canon. icon_confused.gif
