I've never used them, what are your opinions on these? What I really want is a cream cheese icing that crusts. I've tried the crusting recipe here but because of all of the sugar it tasted more like buttercream. So I was thinking maybe I could use a cheesecake flavored oil to boost the flavor. They do make that flavor, right? I suppose my real question is how do you make a good cream cheese icing that's easy to decorate with?

The LorAnn oils & flavorings have gotten good reviews from many members.

Adding cheesecake or cream cheese flavoring would be the easiest way to obtain a crusting b/c; just add to your favorite crusting b/c.

Another source of quality extracts, flavorings and more is National Flavors:

HTH

P.S. Cream cheese icing will become less firm the more it's whipped.....
