I have a cake that needs 480 fondant pearls. I know I need to make extra and was thinking 500 would be okay. Do you think I need to make more. This is my first time making and using them, so I'm not sure how many extra to make. They are to be colored silver/teal so I probably won't have alot of use for them later. TIA.

I usually make about 20 extra of each color I am making. I have used the extras as part of table decorations for the cake table before if I have enough left. Other than that I keep the extras in a container in the freezer in case one day I could use a couple for flower centers or just accents.
