Hi,

I am new here and LOVE all your cakes! I want to make a mickey mouse cake for my son but am just beginning and have not taken any classes. I was wondering what the easiest way to do an image transfer is and if there are amy stp by step videos or anything I can see? Also, what is the best way to get the icing black?? I have only done a few cakes and have made buttercream for them. I have read abouth the piping gel method but is rice paper a better way to go?? Any help would be great

Thanks,

shannon

In the section called "Articles" I found info to make a frozen buttercream transfer (FBCT). I had never done one before, but it was REALLY easy.

I have tried the frozen buttercream transfers and yes, it is easy and it really does work. I was so pleased the first time I tried it, I felt like a true artist. Give it a try.
