I just made my first batch of MMF a few days ago. I was so happy because the other fondant I have had tasted awful.

My question is, how do I color it? Can I use the wilton icing coloring or is there something else?

Im new to using fondant all together so I have no idea.

Also, can the cake be refridgerated with the fondant anc BC frosting?

Thanks in advance,
Very newbie to this board,

Tabitha

I like to color mine before I add the sugar to the MM. I find it is too hard to mix in when it is all hard. Gives you a good workout though. Once you put the MMF on the cake you can't put it in the fridge or it will sweat and the colors will bleed. What I do is freeze my cakes with the buttercream icing on them, then put the MMF on the day of or day before delivery.

Hope that helps.
