I just got my first wedding order, and its 200 cupcakes!! Woohoo!! But here's the issue they want a step up from a regular sized cupcake. What size would that be? I know with Wilton its Jumbo, is that the other size? Any suggestions on cupcake sizes?

Wilton has several cupcake options -
Regular cupcakes (12 to a pan)

Large cupcakes (6 to a pan)

XLarge cupcakes (also 6 to a pan but much deeper)

XXLarge Cupcakes (4 to a pan and have a top and bottom you bake seperatly)

XXXLarge Cupcake (1 to a pan takes one or two box mixes)

I hope these links are helpful! AC moore had all of the Wilton pans if you want to see them in person.

Have fun and Congratulations on the wedding order!

If you are looking for something cute to do you could do the XLarge Cupcake or Large and then decorate the XXXLarge cupcake for the anniversary cake ...

My cupcakes are a bit larger than the standard sizes ones. I still use the same pans, so the bottom is the same size, but they are taller. You can search for online restaurant supply stores and most of them carry the liners. I took a regular paper and flattened it, measured the diameter, wall height, and diameter of the bottom. They usually give these measurements in the descriptions of the liners. I think the jumbo or large cupcakes are too big, for me anyway, because they don't fit in the cardboard holders that fit into my cake boxes.
