I'm doing 180 cookies for wedding favors. I'm airbrushing the letter monogram on the center of the cookie and then piping a royal icing border on the outside to match the monogram.

Can I use the the airbrush color as a color for the royal icing?

Thanks for your help. This is my first time airbrushing and I'm a nervous wreck!

I use edible airbrush color all the time. Either to hand paint or added to icing. It is a liquid so take that into consideration but when I have hard-to-achieve colors (like black or red), I use a combo of colors to get the pigment I desire.

It's also way cheaper.

Thanks for your help. I used the color today in the Royal Icing, but it wasn't brown enough. I had to add cocoa to make it dark enough. I really didn't want the chocolate flavor, but oh well.

Thanks again for your help!
