I live in Indiana and want to learn more cake decorating techinques. I took the Wilton classes at Michael's craft store about three years ago, and there is so much more I would like to learn. With being asked to do more and more cakes for my family I would like to do more and also attmept to do a wedding cake. If anyone one knows of somewhere near Indiana to take classes, or a good book or DVD that can help me. THANKS !!!! icon_smile.gif

The Wilton school is in Darien, IL; not right next door but only one state away....

Here's a blurb on their classes:

There are so many great DVDs out there if you can't get to a hands on class. My collection of DVDs includes Nicholas Lodge (he covers many techniques); Sharon Zambito (will help you improve on techniques such as BC icing & fondant); Frances McNaughton (great DVD on creating more realistic figures). You can get all these at http://globalsugarart.com/cat.php?cid=808

Also, there are a ton of videos on youtube. Just search around and you'll find these.
