I am making a huge 4-wheeler cake soon. The fenders are off of the tires a good bit, I was thinking of making them out of gumpast and sticking them into the side of the cake. Will this work, what else could I use???

I havn't worked with gumpaste in a really long time so please help?

If your cake is being iced in fondant, you could make your fenders in advance and stick them to the cake with RI, supporting them with something until dry............I think that would work...........anyone else?????
