I am making a Spiderman cake today ~ the 3-D bust with a head. I have sculpted the head out of RKT, making it as dense as possible. I have let it dry all morning, but it is still pretty soft, to the point where I can't stand it up becaues it will weaken and fall over. I put a dowel in it, and the dowel sinks in under the weight of the RKT and starts poking through the top.

How long does this thing have to dry? Can I put it in the fridge or something to harden it up? I need to have this thing finished tonight, so I need some help!!!!

TIA!

Stick it in the fridge - it'll firm up fairly quickly.

If you have to make another batch, add more krispies than the recipe calls for ~ that will set up like a brick in the fridge.
