How do I get a good burgundy color. I added some already and it is a brgiht pink color and already tasting a little bitter. Is there another color that i can add to it to help?

Is this buttercream? Try a VERY LITTLE BIT of black... Take out about a cup of icing and experiment with it...paying attention to what you do... You are using Burgundy color? I use Americolor burgundy...

Yeah I have buttercream but i just have wilton colors. My store that carries the other brands is a half hour drive to get to.

I have gotten a good burgundy color... You just have to play with it... You can do it! icon_biggrin.gif

Add purple and red together. This makes a great burgundy!

I had trouble with burgandy also.. and unfortunately this is the color for the major school around me icon_sad.gif ... I would try adding black to the burgandy as others have suggested..
