How do I attach the tiers. since they are just dummy cakes do I have to use just BC or do I have to put a dowel all the way through?
I am making 5 tiers.

Thanks

Just use BC to "glue" the rounds together. It will hold fine. No dowel thru the center.

Thanks Debi.
I am also traveling with it around 2 1/2 hours. It would be still ok with just BC? It is for cake show.
It is my first dummy cake!

I took 4 dummy cakes to my hometown for a bridal show .... 2+ hours round trip, and they were fine. These same dummies have been to a few high school demos with me too.

I use bamboo sticks, plus a bit of RI, there's no right way to do it, just personal preference.
