I want to learn how to make flowers, Ive had a go with the rose, but I like to learn to make tulips, gerberas and frangipanis.

Can you suggest any good books for me to buy?

Thanks in advance
Kathryn

Kathryn there are three that I would recommend. The first is a little booklet by Nicholas Lodge called A Potpourri Of Flowers, it is available on his website. Has 16 different gumpaste flowers, patterns, instructions and nice color photos. Reasonably priced too.

Simplifying Sugar Flowers
Alison Procter

And
Sugar Flowers For All Seasons
Alan Dunn

But the first thing you need for making flowers are the right tools. Here is a post I did on what I think of as a basic gumpaste kit.

Thanks Shirley the Nicolas Lodge book looks fabulous, I went straight to his website and ordered it but they dont post outside USA/Canda icon_cry.gificon_cry.gif

Ive found a copy on Samscakes website but its more expensive plus there is a $4.50 handling fee! Ive looked on Amazon and Ebay but cant find it, does anyone know where else I can get this? Otherwise I guess Ill just have to pay the extra at samscakes.

Thanks heaps
Kathryn
