The MMF recipes call for 16 oz bag of marshmallows. I have never seen this size bag. I have to buy 2-10oz bags and guesstimate how much is 16 oz. My MMF has not been turning out, I end up throwing it away. What do you guys do? Thanks!

I can't find 16 oz bags either. I think Walmart sells them. I used to guesstimate also!

IMO, MMF is finicky! Some days it takes alot of sugar, others not alot. It depends on the weather. I gave up on MMF b/c it was too unreliable for me.

Don't get them here either. I just pick up a couple of bags whenever I see them and weigh them out!

I buy them at Walmart. That is the only store that I know of that sells the 16 oz size.

although the recipe calls for a 16 oz. bag, i've always used the 10 oz.
all i do is, after mixing it in the bowl, i turn it out onto a "powder sugared" counter and knead it like bread dough. a lot of bread recipes call for a certain amount of flour, but sometimes you have to either add more or less, depending on where you live and the climate...it's kinda the same thing here. icon_wink.gif
