Hey I was just wondering if it's safe to cover a cake board with store bought printed wrapping paper? Thanks!

Hi Artsygurl,

Just make sure to cover the paper with clear contact paper icon_biggrin.gif

Most of that stuff is not grease proof and will get ugly stains.
I have used foil and mylar wrapping papers often.

And a # of yrs ago one gal wrote to ConTac asking about their paper to cover boards and they replied it was not made under sanitary conditions and they did not recommend it be used as it could tear off small bits when cut.....
Can you believe that one.....just covering their butts in case someone decides to sue themicon_smile.gif
