Hi Everyone,
I have frosted cookies with rolled buttercream but have never covered a cake with it. I am making a birthday cake for my niece and would like to try this. Can anyone tell me how to do this or give me some advice?

Thanks,
Linda

It's best to roll it out while its still hard from the fridge. Roll it out on a nonstick mat. When you get it the thickness and size you want it and lift the mat up and lay over the cake and then peel the mat off. Don't be afraid to add powdered sugar as you roll it out.
