Dunno who all's watching the show right now, but I was DYINg as she kept referring to the cake balls she was making as being "turd like". She said it like 2-3 times! LOL!

Just seemed funny coming from her.

If you watch her a lot than you will figure out that she has a side to her that is not so prim and proper. She can be almost raunchy at times in her "proper" way. It's funny to see.

Reminds me of the SNL spoof they did about Martha liking Halloween best. In the skit, she was famous for her "flaming bags of poo".... (Ana did a GREAT impression of her....)

bwonderful - you are sooooo right....
I get a kick out of Martha, because of her not so classy comments some times.. She is so very ordinary in a lot of ways...
I received an important call, so I missed the rest of the show, with the meringue cupcakes thumbsdown.gif

Just when i start joining the "wow, she's really pretentious!" side, she did that. LOL.

I'm back to liking her again. Haha!

Ooh, I still think she is really pretentious. But she can be raunchy and sometimes I have to stop and think, "did she really just say that?!"

Her past shows are available to watch on her website for free, for those of you that missed it. I haven't checked to see if yesterday's show is available for viewing yet, but if it's not then it will be soon!

Martha said the woman was from GA. Does anyone know if she is a Cake Central Junkie? I just think of CC when I see cake balls.

I think she learned a lot from her time in Alderson (AKA Marthaville).

THEE BEST Martha show was when Robin Williams was on!!!!!!

He was so filthy and funny and it went right over Martha's head!! and he just wouldn't stop. He got so flustered and didn't know what to do so she just ignored him! and he kept going!

Yes, Martha does have a 'frisky' side to her if you really listen!
I just hate how she always interupts people though with her 'expert' comments. Let the people deomonstrate their skill. That's what they are on for!

I have a good friend who thinks I'm less than lady like sometimes, even though she doesn't say it. One day after she did make a little comment to me about something I did I said "You know, you can take that being lady like too far sometimes!" No more comments from her since.

I like Martha. I think she's part tomboy, like me. Prissy ain't me. I don't even know where to find her show on satalite or regular TV. Food network, what??

The normal Martha show is on during the daytime on our local channel. I know she does have a cable show as well though.

i just watched it! TOO FUNNY! icon_lol.gif

it's kinda nice that she can say some human & improper things sometimes.

i love the new comercial she's in (can't remember what the company is -something big) with lots of other celebrities where some hot to trot guy walks through and all the ladies stop what they're doing to look him over. you actually see her checking out his caboose! love it!

KrisD13 - Love your cat photo....My husband grew up in Winterpeg!!!
In fact my sister in law brought out a Jeanne's (sp) cake for our wedding in 2000!!! God Bless her, carrying it on the plane, although it was a small family wedding, small cake, and a big surprise for my husband. He loves those cakes, me too!!
