spatial perception skills.

OK, so here is the cake I am making. Hopefully someone with more experience can come to my rescue here.
3 layers: (approx. 3 inches each)
Layer 1: 8 inches. MMF Cover: pale pink, Accent: Pale green diamonds
Layer 2: 6 inches MMF Cover: Pale green, Accent: pink and yellow stripes
Layer 3: 4 inches MMF Cover: Pale Pink, Accent: green and yellow dots
Topper: small Brown monkey on Yellow Banana with pink bow
Around all layers - pink and green balls
Sooooooo...... How much MMF will I need in each color (about). I am making the 16oz of Marchmallows, 2 Lbs of powdered sugar version.
Also, can I mix MMF with gumpaste to make the banana and monkey figures?
Thanks a MILLION!!!!!

I have spatial issues, too, but I would estimate 2 and 1/2 batches would work.

I've added gumtex to MMF before, and I didn't like it at all. It made the fondant dry and set up way more quickly than I was comfortable with, and made my figurines crack while they dried. I won't use gumtex again. If you let the decorations sit out for a couple of days, they'll harden up enough.

Whoops! icon_redface.gif Sorry, I just realized you said gumpaste instead of gumtex. Can you tell I'm bitter that I have to make my figurines ALL OVER AGAIN tonight? icon_evil.gif
