Ok the recipe calls for unsalted butter...but instead can I use salted butter? Because thats what I have in the fridge...Will it taste bad if I do use the salted instead of the unsalted?
Thanks in advance,
Jodi

I don't know about others, I am just a mom who likes to make cakes/frosting for my family and friends, but I have a hard time finding unsalted butter at our local grocery so I use the salted most of the time. I can't taste the difference and have NEVER had anyone say anything negative about my frosting. I say GO FOR IT!

I interchange all the time and don't notice a big difference at all. I say go ahead. icon_smile.gif
