Is there any such thing as a crusting SMBC or IMBC?

Nope. Those types of icings do not crust because of the way they are made and the ingrediants in them.

Crusting happens in other buttercreams because of the sugar to fat ratio. The more sugar the more it crusts, the more fat the less it crusts.
