I am making Debbie Brown's busy bee cake for a party on Thursday night.
I am baking it on Tues afternoon and plan on decorating it Wed.

Can I crumb coat it Wed afternoon and let it sit for about 5 hours until I can finish it with the fondant on Wed night?

Or will that be letting it sit for too long?

Thanks SO much for your help. I really want this to turn out GREAT!

That will work. I usually crumb coat mine and leave them sit overnight before decorating. Gives them time to settle

Oh that's great.

Thank you SO much!

This is the first big cake that I'm going to make for anyone other than my husband and kids - I really want it to turn out right!

THANKS!
