Hello everyone,

I'm new to gumpaste, have only used it a few times. I have a cake that needs booties on the top. MAde from gumpaste. I know I saw a template on here for them, I hope they're still there!! But if anyone could give me pointers on it, I would really appreciate it!! Do I put them together and stuff them and let them dry or form them around cardboard or what?? Do I leave some sort of support in there or take it out? Thank you in advance for any help! I did a search because i"m sure this has been asked before, but the posts are no longer there.

I used the following templete for my booties and they came out awesome. the only thing I changed was the back part.

As far as using cardboard or something, you shouldn't have to. Gumpaste dries pretty quick. If you don't have a clay gun for the shoe laces, you can use royal icing.

OH my gosh, they are just adorable!!!!!!!!!! I wish I could use that! I know the mom would love it on a different cake, but for this specific cake she wants more like booties, not shoes or sneakers. You know, like the christening booties? That sort of thing. Thank you so much though! I really want to make those! I'm going to read the instructions anyhow because I'm sure so much would be the same.
