What is your timeline when doing a cake? When do you bake, ice, decorate? How far in advance and how much time between each stage? I usually bake the day before and then ice in the morning and decorate later that day a few hours before it is due but I don't know what the RIGHT way is. Any suggestions?
I don't think there is a "right" answer to this!! What you are doing is fine!!! It would depend on the detail, your schedule, etc. As long as I know that I can complete what I need to do and serve a fresh product, then I just do what works for me and the party involved.
