Frosting Sheets Or Wafer Paper ?

Can I print on wafer paper or is better the frosting sheets. I know the frosting sheets will melt on the icing. Any sugestions? icon_smile.gif

You can use either. I like the frosting sheets better. I use wafer paper also for butterfly or things like that either of them work well. It is up to you.

I would like to know opinions as well. I noticed that you can purchase wafer paper much cheaper than frosting sheets and get a TON more....are they easier to work with or do they tear easier than the frosting sheets?

They are not as smooth as the frosting sheets. More fragile curl some with the ink. If this helps.

Wafer sheets don't "melt" on the cake either. If I'm doing a cake just for a friend or family member for free, I use the wafer paper and save the more expensive frosting sheets for paying customers
