He posted in another thread called "Why Is It" at 11:20 p.m. last night, mentioned the cake, but no pictures of it yet. Where oh where can he be, he was so anxious to post that photo!

Oh I'm sure he will post the photo as soon as he gets on line.

Was the delivery yesterday or today? I hope it came out just like he planned. thumbs_up.gif

I think it is great a 15 year old boy would have such an interest in cake decorating. Most teens his age would only think of eating the cake and couldn't care less about what it looks like.

I have a feeling if he keeps it up he will one day be a top designer. icon_biggrin.gif

Can't wait to see the photo!

He goes to school? Then why does he start posting online between 10 and 11 AM California time? Shouldn't he be in school then?

A future Duff, maybe? I give tons of credit to any guy who wants to spend time in the kitchen. I have two BILs who are awesome cooks and proud of their work--and they should be! If he's posting during the day, I can relate. I never studied during study hall when I was in school. That was prime social or net surfing time!

Hey, Nic--where are the pics? I wanna see too!

Well, first of all, kids have computers accessible everywhere. he could have a study hall with computer access, a computer class with access or lots of other things. He could also be home schooled, right?

I'll bet he is sitting somewhere loving this...getting all of us involved in wondering where he is! I've decided it doesn't make any difference to me if he is in school, out partying or whatever, I really have lost interest. Janice

Hey sorry everyone. My explanation is this:

My camera died yesterday on me and so I couldn't take a picture of the cake so I borrowed a friend's to take pictures of it and did; I'm just waiting for them to send me the pics via e-mail. Trust me, I've been nagging at them all today and calling and they haven't sent it yet, sorry. But once I get them, I'll make a thread on it for your help.

Sorry, once again; it is definately not my intention to "[get] all of you involved".

And I go to school, but during my study hall period I log on and read and stuff.

Sorry for any inconveniences, misinterpretations or judgements any of you may had on my absence.

They also changed church time so I didn't get home until 4:30 (and since I was up last night "partying" and then watching SNL didn't go to sleep until later which is why I woke up late); we had dinnner and now I'm here.

You sure are lucky, Nglez. Back in my day (graduated h.s. in 1991) there wasn't internet access at my school and come to think of it, I didn't even have study hall. During my free periods, I wasn't able to pass the time doing anything as cool as hanging out on CC. You kids these days sure have it good! =)

I can't wait to see your cake . . . I just found out by reading this post how young you are and I'm amazed! Good for you for finding your passions early. It took me 30+ years to find cake decorating!

I graduated in 1990 and internet was something I hadn't been aware of yet. No computer in the house. My dad refused!

I too am amazed at the amount of posts he has since joining!!! Must be some long study halls! Maybe he doesn't have homework ever!! icon_confused.gif Anyway I'd love to see a picture of this infamous cake!

How did your timetable work out, did you have enough fondant for the drapes?
