Well I've been asked for a guitar cake with black cream cheese icing! I usually just start with chocolate icing to get my black, but I was wondering what color would be best to start with to get to black. Royal blue? I'm scared it will turn the taste of the cream cheese if I use too much color. HELP!

Could you airbrush it?

Maybe just use Black Americolor. I swear by that brand now. I get great black fondant starting from pure white and I don't even have to use that much. HTH!! icon_smile.gif
