I made a cake last night, slapped a icing on it and walked away.
It was so nice to do that for a change instead of stressing if it looks good.
It was for us anyway but it was relaxing not trying to get it perfect.

NO kidding! I did that on Saturday and it was soooooooo nice not to have to worry about it...however I was trying to get it smooth and then I thought WHY it's just for us

I'm hearing you loud and clear. I went to my nephew's birthday party a couple weeks ago and his sister made the cake. It was so nice to just go and sit and eat a box cake with canned frosting. I had 2 pieces and enjoyed every bite.
