I tried making the "fondant fancies" a few weeks ago, and it was a total disaster. I couldn't add enough water to get my fondant to stay runny for longer than a few seconds. I'm really not certain if she is talking about rolled fondant, pre-made "petit four icing" or the dry fondant used to make candy centers. I also have her "Beautiful Cakes" book, and the directions are different!
