How much do you guys charge for gum paste high heels?

I make them and charge $100 for the pair. I don't sell very many.

mpc, the heels are AWESOME! I don't make them, but I think $100 is a good price. I have a shoe club that buys cakes from me....they would just sh^% if they saw your shoes! Do you think they would travel well with UPS????

They will travel well all packed tightly in bubble wrap and tissue paper.
Thanks for the compliment.

I am going to pass on your pic (in your photo's) to the president of the club...with your permission of course! I make finger desserts for their monthly meeting and I am thinking they would be interested in buying your shoes for the monthly charity auction. They normally use real shoes that are funky...

What do you think? I know the shoes they auction are atleast $100 a pair!

sure what ever you want to do. But you would need to let me know in advance, I let them dry for a few days.

You did!!
I made the ones on top from satin ice rtu fondant and let them dry for a couple of days on wires. Which didn't work the way I thought it would (reason for them being proped up) Then I piped in buttercream the flamingos on the side of the cakes. Hot pink with black legs. I googled and found the pose I thought I could do the best and that is what I ended up with.

here is the link to the flamingo cake
