Okay. Making marshmallow pops for my 4 y.o. DD's preK class tomorrow. I think...won't that be fun to make all those little punkin' faces? I am using orange Wilton candy melts. I am following the suggestions about rolling them instead of dipping them. They are dipping fine, but coming out all uneven, unsmooth, and no "excess" will drip off. I am afraid I am going to have to scrap the idea and waste all this!! icon_sad.gif

I really wanted to make a superb impression too, after the cookies I sent last time were not up to my personal par.

Please help!!

Please!! I'm begging for help!

Can I thin the melts with vegetable oil and have them set up?

Come on, guys! icon_cry.gif

I've got half a batch sitting downstairs and need to either finish these or scrap.

Sorry to be a crybaby...hate to disappoint DD.

Just did these myself for the first time today. I did add some shortening and they set up fine. I spooned the coating on. Worked for me anyway.

sometimes- depending on your microwave- they don't melt well. I needed to add some vegetable oil to my wilton candy melts. I just made my marshmallow pops yesterday.

It sound as if your chocolate is setting up. Add some shortening to the chocolate to make it smoother. I hope this helps out.
