hi everyone, i bought some dragees that were suppose to be shiny gold, but they are matte much to my dismay i found out that they all come matte. I have a wedding cake for this Saturday and the bride was under the impression as was i that they were going to be shiny, so here is my question i bought some gold luster in a spray can and i was wondering if i could spray them gold, will it sick, or will it be a disaster? any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated thumbs_up.gif

I have some uncolored dragees...I usually toss them around in luster dust to color them. You could try gold and super pearl mixed for a nice shiny gold. I would think it might be hard to get a nice even coat of spray on the dragees, but you never know...can't hurt to test it out.

You can mix vodka or everclear to the dust and make a small amount of "paint", then roll them around in it and they will be metallic.
