Does anyone know where I can find pictures and instructions on making a chinese to go box cake. I've seen this before but I have no idea where I saw it. Sometimes I sit at Boarders and look through cake books and it could have been in one of those books, I can't find it amoungst my stash of books. Any leads???

I have no idea how to make them, but if you give up and decide to buy some, here is a site that sells them for fairly cheap. Hope this helps.

Can you get your hands on a couple of the boxes? I know Michaels sales them. If you got two, it would give you one to look at as an example, and the other you could take apart and use as paterns.

I think you are asking how to make a cake that looks like a to go box, right? It sounds like a Debbie Brown cake.

If you can get a copy of Confetie Cakes - there are directions in that book.

Thanks everyone, what a ding dong I am. I must have missed it when I was looking through my books. Yes, the complete directions with templates are in The Confetti Cakes
