I'm so tired of making a nice cake and having the frosting just seep into the cardboard cake rounds.. any ideas on what to use other than cardboard that I can just leave with the cake when I drop it off?? that way I don't have to chase down any plates....

Cover your cardboards with Fanci Foil or foil wrapping paper or regular wrapping paper and then covered with clear contact paper .

Do they sell waxed boards where you buy your supplies? That's what I use, when I want to give a cake on a plain board.
