I want to make a hill out of cake for the wedding and i was going to bake mud cake in a rather large pudding bowl... does anyone have any experience with baking in ceramic? i know i do it for savoury dishes in my flat baking dishes, but this is a big pudding bowl!
I just dont know how to go about it! Or how much cakemix i need!

Mudcake is quite dense. It might be difficult to get it done in the center. It would be easier to bake in 6" pans, stack and carve your hill. At least you would know the cake is done.
