I always use BC under MMF but my hubby's fave icing is the Pastry Pride whipped frosting and his birthday is coming up. I'm making a football field for his cake and want to know if anyone has tried covering a cake in MMF that has been iced with Pastry Pride or Rich's? Seems like it may be hard to get it smooth.

Any opinions?

I've never tried Rich's (which is what I use), but in the monthly newsletter that I get from them, it said it shouldn't/can't because of the moisture content or soemthing like that.

I'm sorry I'm not explaining well, but when I get home I can look it up in the newsletter.
